Lunch and Learn:

Medicinal Plants and Herbs - Gene Carnicom and Clare Helminiak.  The presentatin will be on Medicinal Plants and Herbs.  It will describe some of the history of medicinal plants and herbs and what chemicals they contain that make them effective medicines.  It will cover many plants and herbs that grow in Comal County, and others that grow elsewhere in America, but are very important in traditional healing and in the pharmaceutical and medical community.  Coffee, tea, and cookies provided.
