Celebrate this celestial wonder at the library! We'll have tons of events and activities, including:
- Eclipse Ambassador Training Sessions led by Nicky at 9:30 am & 11 am - no registrations; first come, first served for 9:30 am; spots available for 11 am class via first come, first serve ticket system distributed day of eclipse
- Make Your Own Eclipse T Shirt - *200 shirts available,* first come, first served; if possible, bring your own black t shirt to guarantee you can make one!
- Solar Telescopes and Binoculars with New Braunfels Astronomy Club
- Interactive Displays and Exhibits, including Culture Corner gallery with more information on how eclipses are recognized across the world, Corona Predictions community art project, and of course our book displays!
- Educational Arts & Crafts
- Citizen Science Projects, including Eclipse Soundscapes and GLOBE Observer
- and MORE!
FREE ECLIPSE GLASSES
A limited amount of eclipse glasses will be available on Eclipse Day (April 8th); first come, first serve. Eclipse glasses will be given away at the library only on Eclipse Day, BUT check out our social media pages @TPMLibrary to find out how to get glasses early at LAKEmobile stops!
Plan to come early, bring lunch, a water bottle, sunscreen, and a folding chair!
